'Windscreen' Magazine

“Windscreen” is the Trust’s prestigious award-winning magazine, which is published and posted out to members six times a year.

It includes a wide range of articles: a Chair's report, articles about military vehicles of all kinds, updates, news and our popular "Sales and Wants" page alongside our Events Calendar, Event Reports and Area Reports which provide information about events our members attend.

Ian Young MVT Editor
Windscreen Editor - Ian Young
Having taken over as the latest in a long line of editors of Windscreen in 2016, I have produced nearly 50 issues to date, but my love of military vehicles is as great as it was when I first got into the hobby and I still get excited when I come across new vehicles.

We are always on the look out for stories and write-ups to include in the magazine.

If you have undertaken a restoration, have information about events past or present, and would like to share your experience by writing an article for Windscreen, please contact Ian

Our Digital Windscreen Archives

Members will continue to receive their traditional paper copies of the current year's edition of Windscreen but we can now offer access to the digital versions of our archived editions, from years gone by.  Not only can they be read online on any device, but readers can search each edition for specific topics and key words.
The collection provides a valuable resource for anyone interested in ex-military vehicles and sharing them,  in line with our core principle of "Educate and Inspire", contributes to the advancement of the public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of military vehicles and our rich military heritage.

Simply click on the edition you want to read - to enter full screen mode, select the icon near the bottom right corner
and to exit,  press the escape key (usually top left of keyboard).  You can search
