Restoration and Maintenance
Under Construction
Titled ‘The complete WW2 military Jeep manual’ by Brooklands books, it is a full reprint of the original TM’s relating to the Jeep and as such can be regarded as the workshop manual. It comes in A5 size so is very handy to even keep in the glovebox. Available almost everywhere I believe.

Manitenance Manual Willys Truck
This is a full size A4 reprint of the original workshop manual produced in May 1942. Very useful for all levels of work on any wartime Jeep be it Ford or Willys (despite the title), usually available from most Jeep part retailers. |
This is an original parts catalogue reproduced and sold in the UK by Jeeparts. A comprehensive parts catalogue is very useful to use alongside the workshop manuals, as it gives you an exploded view of how the parts assembly goes together, as well as the (now probably mostly redundant) original part numbers, but at least it gives you a start! Produced in A4 size with a soft cover.

This book ‘Jeep’ ‘Bantam-Willys-Ford’ by Emile Becker and Guy Dentzer is the ‘go to’ book for serious Jeep restorers, there is so much information packed into this A5 sized book you’ll be amazed. Produced in 1994, and sadly (as far as I know) the text is only in French ( I don’t think and English version has been produced yet), but there is so much detail in the photos (all black and white) and the drawings that you can’t go wrong. It even has a section on the Jeep trailer and its derivatives. Another must for your Jeep library. |
