PLI Insurance Application Form
MVT Personal Public Liability Insurance (PPLI) offers up to £5M of PLI cover and is included as part of every UK membership of the MVT.
It covers every member when they attend events and exhibit a static display, as long as they abide by the MVT Code of Conduct. Once a vehicle is moving, usual roadside insurance applies. For more information and terms and conditions about this cover follow this link:

The MVT also provides enhanced Public Liability Insurance for events that require up to £10M of cover and/or where members are involved in organising or coordinating an MVT presence at the event.
Please note that your standard PPLI cover is sufficient for the majority of events; it is only where there has been a request for £10M cover or you are acting as an organiser, that you need this level of cover.
This cover, is usually organised by Area Secretaries, who make an application by adding the details of each event on our events register. If members wish to attend this type of event they should contact their Area Seretary.
However, if as an individual, you are not affiliated to an area, but definitely require the enhanced PLI cover, (IE if you have been asked for £10M cover or are acting as organiser for an MVT group attending the event) you can make an application using the form below.
Please complete the form with all the required details. Your application will be considered and if successful you will be sent a PLI certificate as evidence of the cover.
