Northern Ireland Area
We are newly formed MVT NI area from September 2024, however made up of members from two previous Military vehicle groups that where long established. We are a friendly group, with many years of knowledge and experience covering the entirety of the province Northern Ireland. We meet every last Thursday in the month in our agreed venue of the Ulster Transport Bowling club in Jordanstown Newtownabbey from 7-9pm.
Our Area Secretary is Stephen Wilson, who has a wealth of knowledge on all things Militaria and a significant collection of items including weaponry, Vehicles, radios
Our members own a wide range of vehicles including some rare armoured, wartime and also post-war vehicles. Many of our members are undertaking ambitious restorations and are always on the look-out for the next project. We also include
many re-enactors and living history enthusiasts in our ranks, so our activities cover a wide range of types of events with many families taking part. As a group, we span across Northern Ireland, and this offers us opportunities to
participate in a large choice of events throughout the year. We are also spoilt with our surrounding areas and coasts to have some beautiful locations for road runs and club meets on the road.
