Arena Insurance Cover
For the last two years, the MVT has been campaigning for insurance underwriters to offer cover for vehicles that take part in arena displays at shows and events; previously, owners have entered arenas at their own risk.

Arena cover update as of 01/04/2026
The underwriters KGM have agreed to extend insurance cover when entering an arena. KGM are the only underwriters to offer dedicated military vehicle policies.
This endorsement is with immediate effect at Howdens Classic Insurance (Cherished Insurance is part of the Howden Group and is included), other brokers will follow suit in due course.
However there are exclusions:

- no racing
- no rallying
- no time trials etc
- cover will NOT include battle re-enactments
There are also restrictions:
- vehicles should be 2 metres apart
- maximum speed 10 mph
- the arena must be marshalled
