Its a M17 multiple gun motor carriage. Production started in December 1943 and there was around 1000 built. They where supplied to the USSR. Ii don' no if it saw combat or not. I also know it was used on a beach in Suffolk to tow boats in and out of the sea with. it was also used on a quarry to transport concrete railway sleepers around, that's why the armour on the back is missing but has been put on the roof. Then I bought it on a farm in Anglesey. It has a diesel engine and I still have the original floor with all the locker lids and cut out for the maxin gun turret.
