Ex- Royal Navy Piaggio Vespa 150 Super 1978 owned by Roger Lambshead
The scooter went into service on the 2nd of June 1978 and was cast on the 19th of July 1990 at Blackbushe- I purchased it a year later. It served at Portsmouth, presumably as a base runabout though I have heard that some were allegedly used on aircraft carriers. The paintwork is original, except for some touching up. The only MOD (Ministry of Defence!) additions are a NATO fire extinguisher and the tyre pressures above the wheels. The registration number was 00 RN 47 but I believe the navy re-uses its numbers
