1942 GMC 353 A1 - owned by Andy Kyte

Purchased October 2005 from David Crouch who brought the vehicle as part of a job-lot from a private collection that was sold off.

It appears that the vehicle was imported from Norway back in the late eighties when it formed part of a collection that was located in Norfolk. The vehicle whist in a very straight and original condition had suffered from the long lay-up.

After a long winter restoration that involved total bodywork rub-down and re-paint, complete re-wire, new fuel lines and complete brake system replacement and re-build the truck finally received its Worthing canvas and took to the road in May 2006

Vehicle is marked as 1st American infantry requisitioned to asst the "Red Ball Express"
