This is my Jeep being driven on the Army test ranges near Aldershot. Originally built up by Bob Aldridge from Buckinghamshire who took a complete and genuine ‘Willys’ – took it apart and fitted it to a Suzuki 4x4 - 5 speed sport!! He used it for cross country rally’s and it has tremendous power/acceleration and he out drove all comers in competitions. Ideal for re-enacting – which I use it for. Being a right hander it is ideal for the road and keeps costs down. Registered with the DVLA as : 4x4 airborne utility. It was pictured a couple of months ago in the Windscreen magazine. Eventually I will change it for a left hander during 2011 but am looking for a Dodge WC/Ambulance/Carryall  instead - speed and power being outweighed by a bit more comfort!!
