APPLICATION FORM
The Military Vehicle Trust will be at Kemble Airfield again for its National Show in 2008 and as in 2007 it will be a three day event from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June.
Kemble Airfield is situated on the A429 3 miles South of Cirencester, or 15 miles North of J17 M4. The show is open to the public 9.30am to 6pm each day; you may set up from 9am Thursday June 26th.
Conditions of Entry (please read carefully):
All applicants must complete and return the attached Risk Assessment form and comply with relevant HSE requirements. All applicants must be insured for third party risks, if you would like to attend this event please complete and return this form to me as soon as possible but no later than Monday 9th June 2008. If you would like to be sited next to a particular trader please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate you, but this cannot be guaranteed. Please note your entry number is not your pitch number, the MVT reserve the right to refuse an application and any payment will be returned without reason for this refusal offered or implied, in the event of refusal or cancellation, the MVT will not enter into any correspondence on the subject. Stall rent for 2008 is set at £4.00 per foot. Pitches will again be sold per meter instead of per foot. Basic 20ft pitch now becomes a 6m pitch @ £80.00, and then in multiples of 3 meters all pitches are 10m deep.
Closing Date for entries is Monday 9th June 2008. Entries received after this date will be have to pay cash on the day before setting up, and be subject to a £20.00 surcharge (no exceptions) i.e. a basic 6m pitch will cost £100.00 instead of £80.00 (Post dated or part payment cheques will not be accepted) All applications must be accompanied by the full payment. Cheques should be made payable to; - MVT 2008.

GENERAL
SITE INFORMATION
Conditions of hiring stalls, open space
reservation & payment of space.
No site is reserved or deemed to be
reserved until the payment in full has been made. Part payment or Post dated
cheques are not acceptable.
Allocation of site.
This allocation will be entirely at
the discretion of the organisers, although every effort will be made to meet
the exhibitors requirements. Please note. Entry No. is
not Plot No.
Preparation of trade stands.
Traders will not be able to gain
access to the site until 9.00am on Thursday 26th June. The show ground will be
closed to the public on Friday /Saturday / Sunday at
Movement of trade stands in the show ground.
No traders may move their stand once
the space has been allocated. No vehicles may move on Saturday or Sunday after
Dismantling of stands on closing day.
All traders must vacate the site on
Sunday evening after the event closes.
Vehicles.
Vehicles may only park within the
showground provided they are within the allocated area, for use with the stand,
all other vehicles, including stock vehicles, are to park nearby as directed,
for which free passes will be issued.
Overnight security.
Stall holders are permitted to stay on
the site overnight in their own caravans or tents, within the allocated area.
Public address system.
Traders are not permitted to have P.A.
systems, music or other noises coming from their stands. Music demonstrations
may be permitted at the section organisers discretion.
Litter.
Kemble is an active airfield,
litter can cause accidents with possible fatal consequences. Traders are
expected to help maintain the ground in a clean and tidy condition and all
rubbish from their stands should be placed in the skip on site. Failure to do
this could affect next years invitation.
Barbecues.
Charcoal Barbecues of any type will
not be permitted on the rally, camping or parking fields occupied by the show.
The sale of fireworks or pyrotechnics
is prohibited.
*NO VEHICLES ARE PERMITTED ON THE LIVE SIDE OF THE
AIRFIELD*
All structures used
for displaying goods on sale must be of safe and sound construction and
appropriate for safe load. Goods that are laid out on the ground must not cause
trip hazards or be stacked in an unsafe manner.
All traders will provide their own fire extinguisher.
They must be fully operational and appropriate for the aspects of your pitch,
stock and equipment.
It is a condition of
letting the stand and display space that the tenant shall have Public Liability
Insurance to cover their activities.
The organiser
reserves the right to ask for and inspect documentary evidence of the insurance
required in paragraph 1 above.

RISK ASSESSMENT FOR: - Traders, Craft Stalls, Autojumble and Displays
Due to the current regulations this Risk Assessment has to be completed
by all of the above attending the show.
The main reason for this form is to identify any risks or hazards. You
will not be able to eliminate all the risks and hazards, but the exercise
should minimise them.

Any risks marked M (Medium) or H (High) must have a method statement. A
method statement is your written statement of the
risks you have
