Including a free MVT camp site, Military vehicles, re-enactors, trade stalls, the     Ovaltiney’s, ENSA show with P.E.Caspar a George Formby impersonator. 11/12  The Buckfastleigh Military Show in conjunction with the Devon Steam Railway. Camping from the 0th to midday on the 13th. Road runs, stacks of exhibitions and a really nice atmosphere. 12 The 12th Haverhill Historic Transport & Road Run, Haverhill, Suffolk. This is held in the town centre car park. Military vehicle owners have free access to the adjacent United Services Club. 12/13 Oakhampton Battle Camp, Devon. Experience life in an active military camp. Cookhouse meals at very attractive prices, drinks & fast food in the Naafi. Many attractions by camp staff and visiting units. This year we are hosting the Royal British Legion who are holding their 2 yearly standard parade. There will be 2 bands on parade with the usual –party in the Naafi on the Saturday evening. Sadly, the Commandant, Lt.Col. in Guardia and ALARME!, Fort St. Elmo, Valleta, Malta

In Guardia is an historical re-enactment and parade which recalls the regular inspection of Fort St. Elmo by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of The Nights of St. John.
Alarme! is a re-enactment detailing the military encounters between Maltese militias and French troops (1798 to 1800) 
Starting at 11am.  Duration 40 minutes on most Sundays throughout 2009. I have seen some photographs and it really looks good, with noisy cannons and muskets and very accurate period costumes. Cost Euro 5.00 Kids Euro 3

AMERICAN AUTO CLUB VENUES.
I must warn you that, like many car clubs, and unlike the MVT, there is a charge for entry. However, they do put on quite good entertainment and obviously ex US military vehicles are most welcome. The 2009 dates and locations are;
Spring Nationals 24/25/26 April at Victoria Farm, Highcross, Lutterworth, Leicestershire LE17 5AU. Camping with good facilities, Live Sat. night band and DJ’s Pre-booked non-members cost is £20.
Summer Nationals 26/27/28 June at Coombe Country Park, Coventry, Brinklow Rd, Binley, Coventry CV3 2AB
Camping on site, Live Sat. Band plus DJ all w/end. Bar and catering available. Pre-booked non-members £29
