Terms and conditions for E-commerce purchases from the Club Shop

All references to the Military Vehicle Trust shall mean “The Military Vehicle Trust”. The address for matters concerning the shop is Military Vehicle Club Shop, 24 Conway Avenue, Cleveleys, Lancashire. FY5 3JH. Email

The contract is between the purchaser/customer and The Military Vehicle Trust and is governed by UK law and the Distance Selling Regulations in force at the date of placing the order. Any disputes arising will be settled in the UK Courts.

The Purchaser retains any rights granted to them under UK Law.

Prices
Prices include VAT where applicable.

Postage is specified on the Club Shop page and is also shown when viewing the Basket and at the checkout stage before the order is completed.

“Special Offers” will be clearly stated and only available while displayed. They maybe withdrawn without notice.

Purchasers from outside the United Kingdom are responsible for any additional taxes and duties arising from goods being exported to their country. The Military Vehicle Trust cannot be held responsible for any claims for such taxes and duties or any damages or loss arising from the purchaser failing to make enquiries as to any such liability.

Payment
All payments must be paid in full and in advance before goods are dispatched. Payment shall be made by credit card/debit card online.

Delivery
The Military Vehicle Club Shop will endeavour to ensure prompt delivery. Purchasers should be aware that the Club Shop is run by a volunteer and is, therefore not manned continuously and deliveries may on occasion take longer than expected. The Military Vehicle Trust cannot, therefore, be held liable nor be obliged to pay compensation if the delivery time is longer than the purchaser anticipated.

If for any reason whatsoever delivery cannot be made then the sum paid by the Buyer will be refunded. The Club Shop will notify the Buyer by email to the address given at the time of the order. The refund will be made as soon as possible and, in any event, within 30 days of order. The Military Vehicle Trust will not be obliged to offer any compensation.

Delivery will normally be by post. If delivery service has been unable to deliver the purchaser is responsible for negotiating re-delivery with the delivery service and any additional costs incurred.

The purchasers must upon delivery examine the Goods and shall promptly (in any event within 7 days of delivery) and notify Military Vehicle Trust Club Shop by telephone or email, where appropriate, of any apparent damage, defect or shortages.

Guarantee and Warranty
All goods supplied are subject to manufacturers guarantees where relevant.

Returns
Upon receipt of the goods, the Purchaser has 7 days in which they can choose to cancel the order and return the goods for a full refund. The Purchaser will be responsible for return of the goods in a saleable condition to the Military Vehicle Club Shop's address at their cost. Providing the goods are in a saleable a full refund will be made.
